Stone Bridge Energy Partners-Houston, TX-Executive Vice President & Partner         2014 – 2016

  • Commercial Lead Developer for petrochemical plant.
  • Commercial Lead for barge and pipeline offtake and JV structuring for $400million crude oil storage project

McDermott International-Houston, TX-Senior Director                                                 2012 – 2013

  • Structured $350million Malaysia JV with local partner to qualify for favorable local ownership bidding requirements
  • Restructured $500million in vessel payment restructurings to delay/improve cash flow for vessels under construction
  • Negotiated $13million London office lease and associated CapEx to re-establish a North Sea presence
  • Structured $70million for Saudi Arabian and Mexican Fabrication yard expansions and movable equipment
  • Structured $450million Derrick Lay Barge for lifting up to 2000 tons of load and laying subsea pipelines
  • Structured $50million in additions/modifications to subsea vessel fleet: NO 102, NO 105, LV 108 and DLV 2000
  • Closed $15million acquisition of Deep Sea, a UK based subsea engineering company and associated backlog

Cedars Capital, LLC-Houston, TX-Founder/Principal                                                       2003 – 2012

  • Sold $500K biomass development asset pipeline owned by Cedars Capital to Gavilon Group and continued as Director of Renewables, further developing trade, finance and commodity products within the biomass supply chain.
  • Closed $90 million+ project financed funding of a 24MW Biomass-Natural Gas Power Project in Snowflake, AZ and provided development, acquisition and financial advisory for its Renewable Energy project business and follow on capital raise of tax equity through the monetization of production tax credits.
  • Sell-side Advisory for $60 million+ sale of manufacturer and marketer of natural gas valve actuation products to Emerson Electric through development of Divestiture and Corporate Optimization strategy and close.
  • Implemented US$6 Billion Budget for Iraq Ministry of Electricity, as the Advisory CFO for building out the natural gas supply chain for power.  Led implementation of International Accounting Standards, capital structuring, prioritization and funding, post Desert Storm.

El Paso Corporation, Houston, TX-Senior Vice President                                                2000 – 2002

  • Generated $100 million in earnings through asset acquisitions: led 25-member Multi-Disciplined Acquisition Team in purchasing a $185 million portfolio of 3 different ownership interests in 2 Qualifying Facility power projects (natural gas and waste coal fired), exclusive of existing project debt.
  • Closed $40 million NPV of Cash on Cash returns with an Internal Rate of Return in excess of 1,000% via a $35 million power plant acquisition that restructured the Power Purchase Agreement and sold residual assets.

Enron Corporation, Houston, TX-Enron N. America & INt’l-Vice President                1996 – 2000

  • Led acquisition team in purchasing $60 million in natural gas fired Qualifying Facility power projects resulting in $15 million in earnings without consideration of restructuring potential.

 Falcon Seaboard Resources/Power Corporation-General Manager                            1992 – 1996

  • Assisted in sale of natural gas fired Power plant portfolio for over $200MM, after tax. Wholesaling natural gas, electrical and thermal, to industrial customers and electrical utilities.
